2 Varieties of Sea Holly. Blue Cap and Blue Glitter
My Sea Holly seeds are sprouting! And way faster and easier than i was expecting!
I started them super early because the instructions said i may have to start them and in 4 weeks if nothing happened put them in the fridge for another 4 weeks then try again. But these guys are growing all on their own! The seeds did get a quick freeze in the mailbox when they were delivered. Maybe this triggered them? I have more to plant this fall should these not work. But it woul be nice to get a few this summer to really see what they are like! And to even dry some out!

Other Seeds and Bulbs i Purchased
I grew some Crocosmia bulbs last year and LOVED them! The Orange is beautiful and they are long and whispy which will add some shape to my Bouquet. I hope they survive this winter! If not i will did these new ones up next fall and store these over winter but we will see.I am super excited to try Freesia! Soooo pretty!
I think i am most excited to have found the Scabiosa flower! It is so beautiful! I have never seen it before coming accross online. They should do well in our zone but this will be my trial year to see! Stay posted!
New Tubers I Ordered early February
Here are the Dahlia Tubers I have ordered online from a Montreal Company. They will arrive sometime in April i believe! All are for my wedding flowers except the pink one which i had to have!
I believe they are from FGL Dahlias!
First Sprout for the Deep RED Dahlia has appeared!!!
I started Growing this Big guy Feb 10 after panicking that it was dying. I was worried i didnt store it properly. I Soaked him in luke warm water with tomatoe fertilizer added to it for half a day and then planted. He is a bit big for the pot. The other tubers pictured are my Orange and White Dahlias grown in 2018. This is my first time digging up my dahlias and storing them over winter so i am not confident of what i am doing and im going to take notes on my journey!
Baby sprout came up Feb 28th 2019. Orange ones have yet to sprout.

This is a pic of One of its RED flowers from last summer with a little grass hopper sleeping in its petals! I cant wait for more!
